Hi, I'm Emma.
Prior to becoming a psychotherapist, I worked in mentoring and leadership roles within the community development sector. Throughout this journey, I developed a specific interest in mental health.
I completed the Master’s of Counselling and Psychotherapy at The Cairnmillar Institute, Melbourne.
I wholeheartedly believe in therapeutic healing. Emotional shifts can be experienced with safety, collaboration & empathy, focusing on both the mind and body.
We might seek counselling if we would like to feel more connected and present in ourselves and with others or, to be therapeutically supported to process a loss, trauma or, manage a chronic illness.
You can expect a professional, person-centred & evidence-informed therapeutic approach to support your mental health and wellbeing.
I am interested in all human experience; trauma & grief, depression & anxiety, stress management, relational, interpersonal & identity issues & chronic illness/ persistent pain.
I am a registered member of the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA) #25328.
